Digital Cameras and Computer Screensavers
The digital camera revolution is upon us, and one of the latest features available with digital is the ability to make snapshots into computer screensavers. Many of the digital shots that we take are intended for photo albums, or to email to our friends and family, but what better way to enjoy those photos than for them to be in constant view?
The screensavers that are standard with your computer are generally flowers, checks, funky designs, and standard metropolitan snapshots. Nothing that really catches your eye, like the snapshot of your grandson, or the latest shot of mom and dad would do, if it were within constant view. Digital has made many things possible, and most affected is the camera and music industries.
Many of the manufacturer’s of cameras have created their own version of software that can be loaded onto your computer, and will automatically transfer the digital images on your camera, onto the computer and add them to your screensaver options.
Not only will the software allow you to add the digital images to your screensaver options, you can edit, crop, email, create a video, or print the images, straight from the camera or after you upload onto your computer.
Computer Screensaver = Best Use Of Your Digital Camera
Sony has perhaps brought to market the most unique digital cameras, and the current models are no exception. The camera itself has computer memory available, along with preset PowerPoint-like transitions and effects that allow the photographer to create things like video and screensaver shows right from the camera, even before anything is uploaded to the computer.
I realize that not everyone’s photos bring the feelings that family photos can inspire in us, especially if it happens to be our children or grandchildren. However, the digital cameras and computer screensavers seem to me to be the best reason yet for digital photography.
